This website
repairguider.com is a static site on Cloudflare Pages. It has no user accounts and no newsletter. It sets no cookies of its own. It does not load advertising or analytics scripts, including Cloudflare Web Analytics.
Guide requests
The request form asks what is broken, the make, model or fixture, and your email. Sending it opens an email to [email protected]. We use that message only to answer the request. It is not added to a mailing list.
Hosting
The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes technical data such as your IP address and browser type to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. We do not enable Cloudflare Web Analytics, so that script is not loaded. The content security policy allows only this site's own pages, images, styles, scripts and fonts. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
Buying a guide
Guides bought on repairguider.com are paid through Stripe, which processes your payment and contact details under its own privacy policy and shares with us what is needed. Etsy purchases are handled by Etsy the same way. We receive only what is needed to deliver the guide and provide support (such as your name, email and the product bought). We never see your card details.
If you email us, we use your message and email address only to reply, and keep it as long as needed for support and our records.
Store links
The 'Check price on Amazon' buttons are Amazon affiliate links: Amazon may use cookies to attribute a purchase to us (tag repairguider-20). We don't receive any personal data about you from Amazon. Other store links are plain links. When you click any store link and leave this site, that store's own privacy policy applies.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or Swiss data protection law, or US state laws), you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal data we hold about you. Email [email protected]. Canada: we handle personal information in line with PIPEDA and, for Quebec residents, the Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector. You can ask to access or correct your information at [email protected]; you may complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada (priv.gc.ca). US: we do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising. Transfers: your data is processed in Switzerland and the US (Cloudflare, Stripe, Etsy, Google Mail).
